  this does have a slight fragrance to it which is nothing to worry about

**Please make sure to tighten lid on tube as once air gets to the hydroquinone product it will oxidize it and will stop it from working. If this happens you will see there is brown or a dark colour round the lid where is meets the tube **

Hydroquinone is used to lighten the dark patches of skin (also called hyperpigmentation, melasma, "liver spots," "age spots," freckles) caused by pregnancy, birth control pills, hormone medicine, or injury to the skin.

Melalite Forte Cream is used in the treatment of melasma. It is a skin-lightening medicine that lightens the darkened skin patches and spots(hyperpigmentation). It reduces the amount of skin-darkening pigment called melanin in the skin. It helps in reversible depigmentation of the skin.

In most of the cases, the average time taken by this medication to reach its peak effect is around 2 weeks to 1 month, before noticing an improvement in the condition.
